Chisholm has completed more than twenty-thousand (20,000) psychoeducational and diagnostic assessments. Our level of experience and quality is unmatched in a private practice setting.
We ensure the accuracy of the results through a unique collaborative model of staff supervision that encourages input from multiple staff members on each case.
The scoring, interpretation and diagnoses are always reviewed by a senior psychologist. Our psychotherapy practice is managed with the same rigour and expertise as assessments.
Our post-secondary practice is one of the first in Ontario. We have worked extensively with most colleges and universities in the province and have ongoing relationships with most accessible learning offices.
We are proud to note that most referrals are from parents who have recommended our services to their friends, including teachers in our public school system who trust us in working with their own children. Another significant referral source is psychiatrists, pediatricians and family doctors across the GTA.
We have an extremely cooperative relationship with all school boards in our area. Many of their staff were trained at Chisholm, and the boards recognize the quality of our work and the appropriateness of our recommendations.
Experience, quality, collaboration, and addressing the concerns of individuals & parents makes Chisholm stand out in our community.
