Dr. Emily Bryntwick (C. Psych.)
Dr. Bryntwick received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from York University. Over the course of her career, Dr. Bryntwick has worked in various clinical settings, including York University’s Centre for Student Counselling, Health, & Well-being, and various inpatient and outpatient settings in hospitals across Ontario, including the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) in Toronto. She is currently a registered member of the College of Psychologists of Ontario, and is the Executive Director of Chisholm Psychology Centre. She has significant training and experience in providing psychotherapy and assessment services to children, adolescents, and adults. In her current role, Dr. Bryntwick focuses on the administration of the clinic, including providing extensive support, training, and supervision to the staff of the practice. Dr. Bryntwick also completes psychoeducational and diagnostic assessments, including those related to attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
Ms. Sonia Khan, M.A. (C. Psych.)
Ms. Khan, completed a Master of Arts degree in Behavioural Neuroscience at Brock University. Over the course of her career, Ms. Khan has worked in various hospital and academic settings, including Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, the Hospital for Sick Children, the University of Toronto, and York University. She is currently a registered member of the College of Psychologists of Ontario, and is the Associate Director of Chisholm Psychology Centre. Ms. Khan’s current role includes supervision of professional staff, various administrative duties, and the provision of psychoeducational and diagnostic assessments.
Dr. Howard Bernstein (C. Psych.)
Dr. Bernstein received his Ph.D. from the School of Professional Psychology at Alliant University in San Diego. Dr. Bernstein previously worked for hospitals, school boards, and other health agencies before founding Chisholm Psychology Centre and Chisholm Academy school. Since stepping down from his role as the Executive Director of Chisholm Psychology Centre, he provides consultation and support to members of the practice and provides counselling to adolescents and adults.
Dr. Shirley Bryntwick (C. Psych.)
Dr. Bryntwick received her Ph.D. from Concordia University in Montreal. She is a psychologist registered in clinical, counselling, and school psychology. In 2019, after thirty-five years at Chisholm Psychology Centre, she retired from her position as the Director of Professional Services. She currently serves as a consultant to the practice.
